Ward Young Men
Quorums are to serve others, build unity and brotherhood, and instruct members in doctrines

guide Aaronic Priesthood quorums in fulfilling their priesthood duties

get to know each young man and become familiar with his talents, interests, and challenges

help them grow in their testimonies
-
helping them set and accomplish goals in the Duty to God
-
Teach lessons on Sunday
-
Attend quorum presidency meetings and provide guidance
-
help the bishopric teach leadership skills and qualities
-
with quorum leaders plan and carry out activities
-
hold Young Men presidency meetings

serve as Scout leaders
-
coaches serve under the direction of the Young Men presidency
Purposes of the Aaronic Priesthood
Parents, the bishopric and other Aaronic Priesthood leaders help each young man to:

Become converted to the gospel of Jesus Christ and live by its teachings.

Serve faithfully in priesthood callings and fulfill the responsibilities of priesthood offices.

Give meaningful service.

Prepare and live worthily to receive the Melchizedek Priesthood and temple ordinances.

Prepare to serve an honorable full-time mission.

Obtain as much education as possible.

Prepare to become a worthy husband and father.

Give proper respect to women, girls, and children.
