See the volcano

• Take Roberts tour ($39 each) decided to rent a car instead
• Rented Ford truck for ($59 plus tax and gas)
• Want to drive 11 mile crater rim, lower half of rim closed because ofgases.
• See Lava where it crosses Chain of Craters Road (was too far to drive)
• Lava tube, very cool, rain forest.
• Wear hiking shoes and take water and snaks
• Hilo to Volcano - 45 minutes 
  Hilo to Waimea - 1 hour 15 minutes 
  Hilo to Kohala - 1 hour 45 minutes
