Food

The food was good. Lots of choices. Tea, and water are included. Soda are extra.
Breakfast was buffet style (muffins, bagels, busicuts, etc) or menu style
Lunch was menu style (usually different sandwiches of some sort)
Supper was menu style usually meat or fish. Always had a choice of the two.

Dolphin Encounter

I did the encounter and the swim as well. I prefered the encounter compared to the dive because pair up groups of 5 or 6 to 1 dolphin. There was alot of time one on one with the dolphin. We were able to pet, play, hold and take photos with her.

Activities

For lunch one day after our second dive we were take to a key called Fins and Flippers. Lunch was ready when we arrived. The atompshere was great, plams trees surrond you for a nice shady retreat. After lunch you can adventure out on the key where they have alot animals. Monkies, birds, and jaguars. They were all cool to see. The jag was so calm, the birds were talkative and the monkies were cute as ever!! We enjoyed the day on the key.
For supper one night we had a BBQ on the key. For entertainment after supper they had a fire show. The fireshow dancers were amazing!! They also have kayaks and horseback riding, which are included. We did the dolphin dive, which was a little dissapointing, due to too many divers (9) to 2 dolphins. We heard some people saying the dolphin snorkel was better.

Diving

Our package included 3 dives per day and 2 night dives for the week.  Overall is very good in the island and the resort handles it very well. For the week that we stayed we were never brought to the same divespot more than once. There are two wrecks in the area, big groupers, green morays, crabs, turtles, lobsters. Topography is amazing in some locations. I have been diving for the past 20 year

Sueno del Mar Resort

a 5 minute walk from the main town but far enough away that you don't hear the music from the bars or the beeping of cars. The hotel has only 8 rooms and they are all waterfront. A 2 minute walk from town, but far enough away where you can’t here the noise. You don’t need to rent a car. There is a water taxi out front to go to west bay for 2 dollars a person.

Ray's breakfasts (included with the rooms) were a great start to every day. He'll cook up whatever you want. All the rooms are comfortable and overlook the beach and the gorgeous Caribbean sunsets. Couldn't have asked for a more relaxing place to stay.

Dives

Three fun dives daily: 8:30am 10:30am and 2:30pm. Seagrape is the only dive shop in the entire West End area that offers local knowledge of Roatan's reef, with over 15 years of diving experience in the area.

This is a really nice and quiet place to stay in the West End part of Roatan Island. It is a 10 minute walk from the main strip of restaurants/bars in West End along a road that is partly lit and quite bumpy! The room I was staying in was spacious, nicely decorated and clean. There was a fridge in the room and fresh water provided daily. The shower was hot and powerful. There is a nice swimming pool next to the sea and a little platform into the sea which you can swim/snorkel off (although there are better places to snorkel on the island). You can hire out snorkelling equipment from reception for a decent price and the staff can book excursions for you. There are a number of computers with the internet which can be used for a fee. Finally the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I expected the hotel to be farther away from town, but it was actually a short walk and nice to be away from everything. No bar or restaurant, but Flash Bar at the Land's End resort is a 2 minute walk and a relaxing place for happy hour.Though, West End was not as crowded as I expected. Argentinian Grill was nothing special, Lighthouse pretty good (but stay away from the Lobster dip!), nicest and coziest restaurant was Lily Pond Guesthouse Restaurant, great food, service and extremely cozy and intimate. For a cheap meal, great baleada's on the main street next to Lighthouse entrance.
